    a.OSI PI(Plant Information System)
    b.Aspen IP21(InfoPlus.21)
    c.Honeywell PHD(Process History Database)
    d.Instep eDNA(enterprise Distributed Network Architecture)
    PI is widely used in the domestic power industry，use unique compression technology called a revolving door and secondary filtering technology to enable the data of the PI the most effective compression for reducing disk space.IP21 and PI both are authentic real-time database software and the price both are more expensive.IP21 widely use in the oil, Sinopec .PHD in the chemical industry is more widely used,as a result of Honeywell accounted for lion's share of DCS in chemical industry. PHD in the internal uses the relational database Oracle .
    The three real-time database above are traditional real-time database released in the end of the twentieth century.due to the monopoly prices of PI in power industry ,Instep eDNA goes into the power industry by advantage of the price gradually has a certain amount of customers, therefore,large power enterprises are still prefer OSI PI, a number of small and medium-sized enterprises choose the eDNA.
    Characteristics: high prices,it contains real-time database and other software.

    a.Wonderware Historian(InSQL)
    b.GE Fanuc iHistorian
    c.Rockwell RSSQL
    d.Siemens SIMATIC-IT-Historian
    Because Wonderware's Intouch is commonly used in industry in China, especially in iron and steel industry, the Wonderware Historian (original InSQL) cccupy a large marketa in iron and steel industry . Wonderware Historian in the internal uses the relationship database like MS SQL Server.Compare to the first three relative real-time database,Wonderware Historian real-time database enter the market late , relatively easy to learn and use,the price is low. Wonderware Historian is used with Intouch, APlication Server and other Wonderware software in the actual project. GE Fanuc iHistorian is a GE's real-time database software, like Wonderware Historian , but there is no relationship database in the core.The third-party applications Procedures access data through API.Domestic system integrators use less Rockwell RSSQL and Siemens SIMATIC-IT-Historian .such companies use them generally in their enterprise information project. 
Characteristics: an affordable price.But real-time database contains only the historical database,requires an additional purchase for other software(such as the Wonderware IDAS, Intouch and Application, etc.).

Such companies has a wide market of the configuration software with many customers,relatively cheap prices.therefore, such companies do not develop their own projects,in general integrators are the purchase of the software to do the project.
